CooperCompanies is buying Cook Group’s reproductive health business for $875m to expand the reach of its fertility business and add complementary obstetrics and gynecology devices.

Under the proposed transaction, announced on 7 February, CooperCompanies will pay $875m for all of Cook’s reproductive health business, currently part of Cook’s medsurg division
