The US Food and Drug Administration would see a 3% hike in funding for fiscal 2022 under the omnibus budget agreement that Congress is expected to pass in the coming days.
The proposal, which is being passed quickly to get $14bn in emergency aid to Ukraine, gives the FDA a total budget of almost $5.9bn. Of that, $3.2bn will come from appropriations and $2.7bn is expected to be made up in user fees
