Device manufacturers have become more pessimistic about the ongoing semiconductor chip shortage as health care providers look to alternative products and treatments, new research from Deloitte Consulting LLP and medtech trade group AdvaMed found.
More than 75% of manufacturers responding to the April 2022 survey said they’d seen customers switch to different treatment options, such as new products or usage strategies, as a result of the difficulty in getting front-line choices
