US FDA Issues Alert For MS Patients Using Autoinjector Devices

The US agency warns that autoinjector devices used to inject prescription multiple sclerosis drugs may only be compatible with certain drugs and not others.

The Food and Drug Administration says multiple sclerosis (MS) patients using autoinjector devices should only use the devices with specific drugs approved for injection.

According to the FDA alert posted on 18 August, the agency has only approved three glatiramer acetate injection drugs, which are administered to the patient by injecting the drug...
