Integra Issues Recall Of Intracranial Pressure Monitors

Company also adjusts its earnings forecast

Integra LifeSciences has recalled CereLink intracranial pressure monitors because of reports they were providing inaccurate readings. The company adjusted its third quarter earnings expectations in response.

Integra LifeSciences announced a global recall of its CereLink intracranial pressure monitors on 18 August after receiving reports that the devices were producing readings that were out of range.

In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the New Jersey-based manufacturer says that it plans to resume shipping the device as soon as resolves the issue....
