FDA Grants EUA For Plant-Based Face Mask

A biodegradable plant-based face mask has won FDA approval for use in healthcare settings, combatting the high amounts of waste generated by pandemic precautions.

The US Food and Drug Administration has granted emergency use authorization to PADM Medical Group’s Precision ECO mask, a plant-based, biodegradable face mask.

The biodegradable mask has been certified for use in health care settings as personal protective equipment for health care practitioners.
