Digital medical devices have been the subject of several reimbursement and evaluation initiatives across Europe in recent years. France is the latest EU country to introduce a fast-track reimbursement program specifically for innovative digital health products, known as the Prise en Charge Anticipée (PEC-AN) scheme.
