The deadlines for legacy products under the Medical Device Regulation have changed. Here are the essentials that all medtech players need to understand in how the MDR has now been amended.

The amending regulation extending the length of time legacy medtech products can remain on the market has been officially published today, 20 March, a few days later than expected. It enters into force immediately in all countries of the European Economic Area.
