Convatec Purchases Nitric Oxide Tech To Improve Its Wound Care Offerings

The wound healing giant has purchased technology from the UK-based company 30 Technology, creating speculation regarding when and how it will incorporate it into its own products.

UK-based 30 Technology sold part of its nitric-oxide-based antimicrobial technology portfolio to Convatec in a deal worth up to £176m (approximately $220m).

The initial value of the acquisition is £45m, however further contingent payments of up to £131m will be awarded to 30 Health dependent on the achievement of “specific regulatory approvals...
