Minute Insight: Restore3d Purchases Conformis, Creating ‘One Stop Shop’ For Personalized Implants

The two companies will merge following a cash-for-shares offer from restore3d being accepted by Conformis’ board.

Restor3d has agreed to pay approximately $17m to acquire Conformis, its competitor in the 3D-printed orthopedics market.

It will purchase all outstanding common stock shares of Conformis at a price of $2.27 each. This is a 96% premium over its last closing price on June 22.
