The pure-play software company, which has developed a tool to record and monitor patients’ coughs, has signed a partnership to integrate its technology into a wearable.

Hyfe, developer of AI technology to monitor patients’ coughs, has partnered with ActiGraph, a manufacturer of wearables for applications covering sleep, physical activity and gait, to create a new wearable.

The partnership will allow ActiGraph to integrate Hyfe’s cough-detection software into the LEAP wearable, a smartwatch-like device with a variety of sensors. The US Food and Drug Administration
