The Council of the EU has agreed on a mandate to begin negotiations with the European Parliament on the European Health Data Space regulation proposal. Trilogues, including the European Commission, are expected to start this month, with parliament aiming to finalize its position by 13 December before a final review by the Council of the EU.
The mandate, which was announced on 6 December, addresses concerns raised by last week’s Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (EPSCO) meeting, including patient data autonomy and data storage
