Merck to buy Vestal Labs
Merck announced an agreement with Chemed to buy its Vestal Labs subsidiary for $67.4 mil. over the next four years. St. Louis-based Vestal manufactures and markets professional skin care products, disinfectant cleaning products and instrument germicides to hospitals, nursing homes and other health care institutions and facilities. Vestal will be a part of Calgon.
