Wyeth RotaShield Price "Considerably Higher" Than Expected - CDC Official

The catalog price for Wyeth's RotaShield rotavirus vaccine is "considerably higher" than had been anticipated when the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommended the vaccine for routine use in newborns, National Immunization Program Deputy Director John Livengood, MD, told the Advisory Commission on Childhood Vaccines Sept. 9.
