Terfenadine NDA withdrawal

FDA announces withdrawal of NDAs for Hoechst Marion Roussel's Seldane and Ivax/Baker Norton's generic terfenadine products in Oct. 5 Federal Register. The companies recently withdrew their requests for hearings on FDA's proposal to withdraw the NDAs for safety reasons. Hoechst discontinued marketing of its Seldane line of products in February
