Acquisition of branded pharmaceutical firm C TEX will supply Andrx with a 100-person sales force ahead of the company's first NDA product launch. Andrx plans to submit an NDA for its extended-release formulation of lovastatin in the first quarter 2001. The Nov. 17 acquisition of C TEX is valued at about $30 mil., Andrx said
