Antimicrobial Resistance Rallies Calls For Active FDA, R&D Incentives

With the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance putting the spotlight on the need for novel antibiotics, FDA has opened the debate on whether incentives, similar to the orphan drug system, are needed to prompt R&D in the area.
