PCORI Will Ask Research Funding Applicants To Include Ideas For Disseminating Results – Draft Plan

Draft checklist would ask researchers for ideas on involving stakeholders, “engagement points,” and ways to disseminate research results, indicating PCORI will ask researchers to think outside of their typical approaches such as journal publication or scientific meetings.

Researchers who seek funding from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute will be asked to include in their proposals ideas to engage stakeholders and help their research findings reach the institute’s primary target audience of patients and their caregivers, under a draft plan on research dissemination.
