Medicare Rx Formularies: "Drugs" Means At Least Two Per Class, McClellan Says

Requiring two drugs in each formulary class will limit drug plans’ ability to negotiate prices in two-product categories. CMS Administrator-designate McClellan says the formulary developed by U.S. Pharmacopeia will be a "safe harbor" for Medicare drug plans.
