USP Medicare Formulary May Include Off-Label Uses

The Model Guidelines Expert Committee is considering having two documents, one with off-label uses and the other without. Formulary development is being based on the International Classification of Diseases, and the committee is debating how to set subcategories. A public meeting is planned for Aug. 27.
