Walgreens will rejoin Express Scripts’ pharmacy networks beginning Sept. 15 under the terms of a “multi-year” contract announced July 19. Although contract specifics were not disclosed, the announcement states that Walgreens’ 7,900 stores will participate in the “broadest” Express Scripts retail pharmacy network available to new and existing clients. The broadest Express Scripts network will include more than 64,000 pharmacies nationwide.
