Express Scripts is “looking at strategic alternatives” for some of its non-core businesses, which include international ventures, UBC and PolyMedica.

Express Scripts Holding Co.s’ recent realignment identifies as non-core businesses the international ventures it has developed in-house and those acquired with Medco Health Solutions Inc., as well as Medco’s United BioSource Corporation and PolyMedica Corp. units, Chief Financial Officer Jeff Hall said during the pharmacy benefit manager’s second quarter financial call Aug. 8.
