A New Class Wanted For New York Digital Health Accelerator

The first nine-month incubator program hosted by the NYeC and PFNYC was a success, helping eight companies get a better footing in the New York economy, gain clients and launch 17 pilot programs that have led to job creation and better technological tools for state hospital systems.

The changing health care landscape is resulting in a need for creative partnerships to help providers better interact with patients, and to connect those providers with technology that can make that job easier. New York State is about to embark on its second effort to facilitate those partnerships through a digital health accelerator that encompasses everything from patient history management to post-discharge care.
