PREPARATION H OINTMENT CLASS II RECALL BY WHITEHALL LABS was initiated by the American Home Products subsidiary last spring due to the possible presence of "objectionable microbial organisms," according to the company. Whitehall began the voluntary recall in May 1994 after an "objectionable" microorganism was found in a product sample, the firm said.
