UMI TO MODIFY AD CLAIMS FOR CHROMATRIM-100 CHROMIUM PICOLINATE GUM following a review of the company's print advertising by the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus. According to a recent NAD "case report," Universal Merchants, Inc. said it is "in full agreement with NAD to change its advertising regarding" clinical efficacy and safety claims for ChromaTrim-100 presented in print ads that appeared in the September 1994 issue of GQ magazine. The ads, developed in-house, came to NAD's attention via its routine monitoring program.
