CTFA questions scientific basis of CPC's proposed talc label warning for ovarian cancer.

CTFA QUESTIONS SCIENTIFIC BASIS OF TALC WARNING FOR OVARIAN CANCER in June 16 comments to FDA. In response to a November 1994 citizen petition filed by the Cancer Prevention Coalition seeking carcinogenicity warnings on talc-containing products, the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association contended that "such labeling is without scientific basis and is unnecessary to protect the health of consumers."
