Block Drug acquires Nature's Remedy laxative line from SmithKline.

BLOCK DRUG PURCHASING NATURE'S REMEDY FROM SMITHKLINE BEECHAM, the companies announced Dec. 18. Under the purchase agreement, the laxative product line will continue to be manufactured by SmithKline for up to a year. Nature's Remedy currently is sold in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
