The new liquid contains flax oil providing, per serving, 5,872 mg omega-3 ALA, plus 12 mg lignans from flax particulate, and borage and evening primrose oils, providing 288 mg omega-6 GLA. The product, sold in independent and chain health food stores and in mass outlets, is packaged in 8 oz. bottles that retail for about $8.99.
