DIETARY SUPPLEMENT GMPs ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION NEEDED BEFORE RULE STAGE, the Council for Responsible Nutrition recommends in June 6 comments to FDA. "The continuing emergence of important questions strongly suggests to CRN that there is a need for additional discussion before this process goes to the next step of a proposed rule," the comments state. FDA published the advance notice of proposed rulemaking on dietary supplement Good Manufacturing Practice regs in February ("The Tan Sheet" Feb. 10, pp. 2-5).
