FDA SEEKING LANE LABS, SHARK CARTILAGE CANCER PROMOS OPINION from its General Counsel's office about how the agency might handle the relationship between Lane Labs, William Lane, PhD, and promotions for the company's shark cartilage product BeneFin and SkinAnswer, a topical product, as treatments for cancer. FDA's New Jersey District Office, which sent a warning letter to the Allendale, N.J.-based firm Sept. 24, said it expected the GC's office to respond by Nov. 17.
