Luden's Herbal throat drops

Active ingredient is menthol; other ingredients include lemon balm, spearmint, thyme, sage, licorice extract, horehound, linden flowers, angelica root, anise oil, guarana, hyssop oil and elder flowers. An ad that broke Dec. 7 says "What's inside new Luden's Herbal throat drops? Nature's soothing herbal remedies. For irritated throats, try new Luden's Herbal." In the ad, the camera zooms in on the product bag, reaching the "inside" of a throat drop filled with leaves. An FSI in Dec. 6 Sunday newspapers offered 55cent off the price of two packages. Sold in bags featuring plant silhouettes, the "original blend" or "cherry herbal" drops are selling for $1.55, in line with Ricola herbal cough drops and Warner-Lambert's Celestial Seasonings Soothers lozenges
