AHCPR Awards Garlic, Milk Thistle Studies To Univ. Of Texas Center

The effect of garlic on cardiovascular disease and cancer prevention and Silybum marianum (milk thistle) on liver disease is being investigated by the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, under a grant from HHS' Agency for Health Care Policy & Research.
