Nature's Life Relabeling Zinc Lozenges As Food Following "Courtesy" Letter

Nature's Life (M.K. Health Food Distributors) plans to repackage and relabel its Zinc Lozenges and Zinkers products as food after receiving a Feb. 8 "courtesy" letter from FDA stating the products do not qualify as dietary supplements. Nature's Life had submitted structure/function claims to FDA for the products in January under the notification provisions of the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act.
