CVS/Soma.com Tripling OTC Offerings To 10,000 Following Merger

The e-commerce drug store soma.com will triple its OTC offerings following the merger of the online company with CVS. "We plan to extend the OTC offerings probably from about 3,000 to somewhere between 9,000 and 10,000 initially," CVS CEO Thomas Ryan said during a teleconference announcing the merger May 17. The deal involves a $30 mil. stock transaction.
