Trusted Trader Program Pairs FDA With Customs To Expedite Imports

The Trusted Trader program would create some incentives to companies willing to ensure their supply chains are secure, but is similar to a program FDA already has in place.

FDA will work with two federal agencies – Customs and Border Protection and the Consumer Product Safety Commission – on a small test program for expedited imports, while continuing a program for drug product importers.
