US among countries intending to apply for membership

Applications for membership by a number of countries - including an application yet to be submitted by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - were discussed at the Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention (PIC) and Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme (PIC/S) meeting on 8-9 February 20051.
