Only Germany and the UK now need to ratify the Unified Patent Court Agreement for it to take effect, and while there is uncertainty over whether the UK will do so in light of the EU referendum, a recent opinion from English barristers suggests there are no particular legal barriers to the UK remaining part of the deal after Brexit.
