GPhRMA? Generic Trade Group Picks Up Another Exec From Brand Association

PhRMA Senior Counsel Jeffrey Francer will become GPhA's General Counsel in mid-November.

The Generic Pharmaceutical Association has picked up another executive from its rival association, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. PhRMA's VP and Senior Counsel Jeffrey Francer will become GPhA's Senior VP and General Counsel on Nov. 14.

Francer will report to GPhA President and CEO Chip Davis, who himself joined from PhRMA last fall (Also see "If You Can't Beat 'Em … Hire 'Em? During his first year at the generic association, Davis has been explicit in his effort to help GPhA evolve so that it can take a bigger role in policy debates
