The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's 's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) will soon begin a review of the literature on influenza vaccines to see if some may be more beneficial than others for individuals 65 years and older.

Lisa Groskopf, a medical officer in CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, described the plan for the meta-analysis at ACIP's 23 October meeting
