The medical NGO, Médecins Sans Frontières, has called on the leaders of high-income countries leaders to follow up on their commitments and “immediately redistribute their excess COVID-19 vaccine doses” to low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) via the COVAX Facility and other regional mechanisms.

This, says MSF, is “the fastest way to save lives right now”, and it must be done “well before these doses expire
