The Biotechnology Innovation Organization may need to do some soul searching as it commences its search for a new CEO following the resignation of Michelle McMurry-Heath after less than two and half years at the helm of the trade organization which represents a wide variety of biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
McMurry-Heath’s resignation late on 10 October followed media reports just days earlier that she was on leave following disagreements with some board members. She will continue to serve as an advisor to the executive committee
