Ahead of the key National Congress of the Chinese Communist Part starting this Sunday (16 October), Beijing has notably tightened security and scrutiny over any potential COVID-19 flareups.

The capital is requiring all visitors to go through two PCR tests within three days of arrival, while regular residents must have one test every three days to avoid
