The Technical Advisory Group on COVID-19 Vaccine Composition is to hold two more meetings this year and may make recommendations on how new vaccines should be formulated.

An advisory group to the World Health Organization is to look at whether future COVID-19 vaccines will still need to include the index (original) SARS-CoV-2 virus as well as its later variants and says that any further recommendations on updating vaccine composition will be issued at its next meeting in May.
