BENETTON TRIBU IS FIRST PRODUCT TO BEAR PETA "CRUELTY-FREE" LOGO designating that the product does not contain animal ingredients and is not tested on animals. The logo, created by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, was placed on United Colors of Benetton Tribu fragrance collection packaging Oct. 20. Benetton is currently reformulating its Colors de Benetton fragrance line so that its packaging can bear the logo as well. Benetton sells its fragrances in 55 countries.
