ST. IVES REVAMPING SWISS FORMULA HAIR CARE SYSTEMS with "more healthful formulas, new packaging and contemporary graphics and exciting new variants," the firm said. In an effort to update and streamline the 15 year-old line, St. Ives is adding Swiss Vanilla and Extracts of the Rain Forest shampoo and conditioner system and is discontinuing the Apple Mint, Henna, Cream Rose and Keratin formulas. Three of the original Swiss Formula shampoo/conditioner combinations -- Aloe Vera, Jojoba and Papaya -- will remain in the line, and one is being changed from Silk Protein to Silk Pro- Vitamin. The revamped products are launching Jan. 1.
