In a ratings study on 38 dentifrices, other CR top picks include Colgate Baking Soda & Peroxide Whitening with Tartar Control, at 75 [cents] per month, and Crest Extra Whitening with Tartar Protection, at 97 [cents] per month for consumer use. Both products "offer tartar control at reasonable cost," CR says.
