EU Animal Testing Ban Would Apply Only To Member States - Draft Proposal

The European Commission is proposing to modify the upcoming animal testing ban on products marketed in the European Union by amending the Cosmetics Directive to prohibit animal testing on finished products only in member states' territories, EC Directorate General III-Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetics Unit Administrator Lee Bansil announced.
