Eusolex 6300 UVB Filter Deserves Sunscreen Monograph Status, Merck Says

Merck KgaA asks FDA to reopen the OTC drug sunscreen monograph to include additional information on its UVB filter Eusolex 6300, or 3-(4-methyl-benzylidene) camphor, in an April 12 supplement to its 1980 petition to the agency.
