Neutrogena
SkinClearing Makeup foundation with salicylic acid will be added to the color cosmetics collection in October. The product is targeted to women of all ages who "want to wear makeup in order to even out skin tone and cover up blemishes" but worry that foundation can "block pores and cause even more breakouts" and that tinted blemish creams appear "cakey and fake," Neutrogena said. SkinClearing Makeup's lightweight, oil-free formula "provides fresh, natural-looking coverage" while clearing and minimizing pores and helping to prevent future breakouts, the firm claims. The matte finish formula contains oil-absorbing powders as well as a time-release complex of vitamins A, C, E and B5. Aloe and chamomile "soothe aggravated skin." Available in 12 shades - ranging from Classic Porcelain to Bronzed Cocoa - the foundation will retail for a suggested $11.75. Advertising and promotions will carry the Neutrogena cosmetics "Beautiful & Beneficial" tagline
