Neutrogena
Corrective cosmetics line formulated to reduce appearance of fines lines and wrinkles will debut July 2001, the Johnson & Johnson company announces at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores trade show June 25-28. The line will target an "older" audience and round out Neutrogena's cosmetics platform by adding an age-defying line to the existing "Beautiful and Beneficial" collection, which bowed April 1998 (1"The Rose Sheet" Nov. 23, 1998, p. 3). Separately, Soothing Relief anti-itch medicated moisturizer debuts in September backed by $3.1 mil. in ads and $2.5 mil. in samples, according to the company. The product will retail for $5.75.
